Chrysalis Shepherding Home
One Chrysalis Shepherding Home Resident's Testimony:

       Heidi's Story

WHOM DOES THE HOME SERVE?

Chrysalis is a Christian residential home serving women, 18 years of age and older, who have recognized a need for a change from past unhealthy lifestyles and who make a personal commitment to work with Chrysalis Shepherding Home staff to effect that change. An "unhealthy lifestyle" may involve a crisis pregnancy, homelessness, domestic abuse, substance abuse, incarceration, or other.

The women may or may not be pregnant and may be single or married. They may bring their children with them. They do not have to be from a specific geographical location. Each applicant will be prayerfully considered on an individual basis to be admitted as space in the home is available.

WHAT IS CHRYSALIS LIKE?

Chrysalis is a country home in a peaceful, rural setting in Hancock County, Illinois. The home has been extensively remodeled to be a beautiful place for the women who live there. It has the capacity for seven residents.
